[First World War] REGIMENTAL PRESENTATION COPY, first edition. Quarto (27 x 21cm), unpaginated; containing a one-page biography and a black and white photograph tipped onto the facing page for each person. Printed on fine hand-made paper at the Chiswick Press. Publisher's navy cloth, with gilt titles to spine, top edge gilt, and others untrimmed. With a letter from the Chairman of the Stock Exchange War Memorial Fund to the officer commanding the London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles), and a corresponding presentation plate dated October 1922, both tipped onto the front endpapers. Some toning to endpapers, and a little weakness to upper hinge; otherwise internally crisp and clean. Moderate general wear to cloth. Very good.
