First edition, 64pp, frontispiece photo of the author with tissue guard laid in, author's inscription underneath reads 'To Mr and Mrs George Arliss remembering "Richlieu" at the Lux Radio Theatre with admiration and every good wish John Burton 1939', original grey paper boards, slightly spotted, and cloth spine, some spotting to edges and endpapers, pages appear clean for the most part. George Arliss (1868-1946) was the first British actor to win an Academy Award for his portrayal of Disreali in 1929. He specialised in biopics, including Cardinal Richlieu. Size: 8vo.
