First UK edition published by Stanley Paul in 1952. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper is pretty much complete. There is a tear to the top left hand corner of the front panel. The spine has faded by a shade or two. The back panel is marked. There is minor wear along the edges and corners. It is an extremely fragile wrapper and this is one of the better examples we have handled. The book is in very presentable condition. There is no previous owner's ink. The is some foxing marks to the first few pages and to the text block. Overall a very good copy. This copy is very rare as it has the signature of Alf Ramsey on the front free end paper. The autobiography of England great Alf Ramsey where he discusses his playing days for Spurs and England. He would of course go on to reach sporting immortality by managing England to its world cup victory in 1966. A very rare book to find signed. . Seller Inventory # 002858
