The usual page tanning due to the poor quality of paper used otherwise a fine copy in like D/W (with fading to the red portion of the spine). Inscribed by the Author on the title page: "To Jessie and Joe,/ with love/ from/ Mary,/ 'Ellis Peters'". Jessie Hodgson (nee Edward) was Ellis Peters' first cousin. Ellis Peters' real name was Edith Mary Pargeter. Family members called her "Edith Mary" or "Mary" as her mother was also called Edith. A superb Association Copy. Seller Inventory # 355490716979
