This is the autobiography of one of the most outstanding woman pilots of the 20th century. Among the many achivements in the male-dominated world of aviation is her ferrying over 1400 warplanes as a member of the A.T.A. (Air Transport Auxiliary) during WWII, flying Israeli Spitfires to Burma in the 1950s, and being the first female Airline Captain to ferry passengers on scheduled flights.
