8vo, 344pp, illustd, maps, orig cloth, little edge rubbed, not much at all , patch of sunning to bottom of spine where wrapper gone, good clean tight copy , more vg really, in a dustwrapper which has repairs and bit away from bottom of spine but over 90 % complete in a clear protector, inscribed and signed on the front end paper ( covering the page ) by the author as follows ' 10 may 1912 - 10 may 1962 ERIC BUSH half a century ago the owner and author of this book joined the r.n. college osborne together as cadets . after forty years in the navy they are both trying their hands at a new trade . william jameson Ham wells ?? ( cant quite make out the rest of the word after wells . maybe a house name possibly ? a good plus inscribed and signed copy in a only fair dustwrapper , but i am sure a better wrapper could be found as such a lovely inscription for this book.
