Binding is firm. Co-compiler Dr. Kit Carson's eight-line ink inscription "12 May 1976 To Mother and Dad with so many thanks . . . Kit Carter III" upon the front free endpaper. Book has a 1973 copyright but Library of Congress catalog cites a 1975 publication date (which is likely accurate as the page iii Foreword by General Earl G. Beck is dated Decembre 1, 1974.
