SIGNED BY COMPILER - family association copy. ix, [1], 991 pages. Hardcover: H 24.75 x L 17.5cm. No dust jacket. Blue cloth rubbed; gilt stamping to spine and front boards remains bright. Text block edges foxed with some toning; several small dark stains to bottom edge. Foxing to initial and rear leaves; slight foxing occasionally at margins of interior leaves but otherwise clean. Binding is firm. Co-compiler Dr. Kit Carson's eight-line ink inscription "12 May 1976 To Mother and Dad with so many thanks . . . Kit Carter III" upon the front free endpaper. Book has a 1973 copyright but Library of Congress catalog cites a 1975 publication date (which is likely accurate as the page iii Foreword by General Earl G. Beck is dated Decembre 1, 1974. Please note that this thick book has an approximate shipping weight of 4.5 pounds (2 kg) and may require additional postage for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail.
