Copy number '44' of an edition limited to 225 copies, signed by the author and illustrator. The book was designed by Dennis Hall, laserset by Oxford University Computing Centre and printed by Harry Crook on a Heidleberg Litho Press. Card covers with brown wrappers to which a printed and illustrated label is attached, illustrated endpapers. Octavo, 235 x 165 mm, pp. [1-6] 7-36 [blank] [illustration] [colophon] [blank] with 21 illustrations by Sylvia Stokeld. A book in Fine condition. Of the edition of 225 copies, 35 copies numbered I to XXV were hand coloured by the artist.

standard delivery charge in the United Kingdom
We offer a standard delivery charge and insurance to all mainland UK addresses of £4.00 unless the weight of the parcel exceeds 2kg, when the charge will be the actual cost.
Delivery charges outside the United Kingdom
The charge for packing, insurance and delivery of a single book outside the UK is as follows:
To destinations in Europe: £15 plus £2 for each extra item up to a total weight of 2kg. Heavier items are charged at cost.
To destinations in North America and To destinations in the Rest of World: £25 plus £2 forveach extra item up to a total weight of 2kg. Heavier items are charged at cost.
Delivery methods and periods
We will usually use Royal Mail / Parcel Force or a courier.
We will dispatch books within 48 hours of cleared payment, with the expectation that, they will be delivered (a) within the UK no later than 48 hours thereafter
(b) overseas, as soon as possible having regard to local postal/courier services.
The delivery periods are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.
