This set is an attractive presentation of illustration plates, comprising new impressions taken from the surviving zinc plates that were used for printing the original 1901 private edition of The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Sextodecimo. Illustrations by Beatrix Potter. Original blank wrappers. With dust jacket. 34 plates printed in brown each within separate folder. Housed in publisher's grey-blue folding box.
