(1830-1878, unpaid Sergeant in Wrede's Royal Kronoberg Regiment of the Kingdom of Sweden & Norway), printed with the details filled in by hand, saying that "Lilljecrona has been brought to my attention because of proven competence and good conduct." and appointing him "to become a Serjeant without Salary with the above named. Regiment. signed. with my own hand and confirm it with the Coat of Arms of my Baron.", 1 side folio with fine wax seal with his coat of arms, beehive watermark, attached inside is an attractive bank note style printed stamp duty document for 4 riksdaler, engraved in red and black with the Swedish Royal Arms, Wexjø, 1st November The Wredes, in Cologne in the Middle Ages, then Estonia and Livland, settled in Finland and were ennobled by Queen Christina in 1653 with the Finnish barony of Elim. In 1808 Carl Henrick Wrede fought in the defence of the land islands, when Russia attacked Sweden for her neutrality between France and Great Britain. In 1809 Finland and the islands became a Russian Grand Duchy and the Wredes remained Swedish. Carl Henrik's title is 'Baron of the younger line', his elder br other, the Fieldmarshal (Carl Fabian) having been made Count.
