Two works in one volume, small 8vo (155 x 95mm), pp. [iv], xxix, [iii], 128; ix, [iii], 119; two frontispieces and 5 and 11 plates, all except the frontispiece to the second work being wood-engravings; a fine volume in contemporary dark blue straight-grained morocco; gilt edges (for the foredge painting see below); preserved in a fitted cloth box (signed by 'A.D.E.', apparently A.D. Estill, collector of 19th c illustrated books). Two finely-printed volumes of Bloomfield's poems, the first of them printed by Bensley. The volume has a nicely-executed foredge painting showing an angling scene at a lake, surrounded by hills.
