Contemporary morocco gilt, rebacked, all edges gilt, book-plate of WILLIAM EDMUND IMAGE FRCS, a tiny library stamp on each free end-paper, a little foxing of the blanks at the ends of the book, otherwise a clean and bright copy. *Very scarce and described by COLLINS History of Moorfields Hospital - '. no illustrations of eye diseases ever surpassed or even equalled those in this Atlas. The cost of production was nearly fifteen hundred pounds.'. COPAC records a number of copies in UK libraries but it is not listed in the catalogue of the BRITISH OPHTHALMOLOGICAL SOCIETY.
