Bound in full blue morocco (by Mansell (Bookbinders) Ltd in original publisher's slip-case. Gilt vignette of an archer to the front board, Signed by the author and artist's son Francis Russell Flint. Colour and black & white illustrations. Marbled end-papers. Gilt edges. 6 panels to the spine (with 5 raised bands) titled in gilt to the second and third panels. Approximately 14 ¼ inches tall. This is a VG+ copy of the book itself slightly faded to the spine but otherwise in lovely condition. The VG original blue slip-case is partially sunned to the front board but has done its job in ensuring that the book itself remains in lovely condition. A sumptuous production. There is a facsimile letter at the rear of the book, signed by Francis Russell Flint. This is a heavy book which will require additional postage particularly for overseas orders.
