From the library of author Richard Hughes, with his armorial bookplate and ink signature to the half title, dated Oct 12th 1921, 14pp, pages appear clean apart from some light spotting to half title and the middle pages, original green printed paper wrapper, tied with string, some wear to edges and some small stains to covers, margins and spine joint of both covers sunned. A poetry anthology, written by British author, diplomat and Liberal politician George Harcourt Johnstone. Only three copies of this work are held institutionally in the UK, including at the British Library, National Library of Wales, and University of Oxford Libraries. Size: 8 x 6 Inches.

The Old Hall Bookshop was established in 1977 by John and Lady Juliet Townsend. The Old Hall is a very fine 18th century house in the centre of Brackley, a pleasant market town about 18 miles north of Oxford. The shop has a large stock of antiquarian, second-hand, new books and maps covering a wide range of interests and prices. We welcome visitors and trade customers. Parking is easy in the Market Square. Disabled access available. Opening hours: We are open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5:30pm excluding bank holidays US Customs may now review all UK origin shipments. We ship books under HS CODE 4901.99.00 which remain duty free, though some US states may apply sales tax or handling charges.…
