Divided into ten chapters, the book introduces readers to wine regions today, and speculates about how wine will evolve. It also includes practical information for setting up wine tastings, storing wine, and pairing wine with food. This book makes a good companion on the journey to discover the world of wine.
About the Author
CLARA ORBAN is professor of French and Italian at DePaul University, department Chair, Modern Languages. She received her Ph.D. at the University of Chicago in Romance Languages. She has published books, book chapters, articles, and presented papers on surrealism, futurism, language pedagogy, AIDS literature, sports, TV, and Italian film. She published her first novel, Terra Firma, in 2006. Her sixth book, Body [in] Parts, 2008, provides an analysis of the Marquis de Sade's influence on Hervé Guibert. She is also a certified sommelier and teaches Geography 350: The World of Wine at DePaul University, Chicago. Her current book, Wine Lessons, published in 2012, is in its second edition, and she has plans for a new novel. Her interest in Hungarian cinema has led to several presentations and hopefully to future projects.
