Leland, John ( 1691 - 1766 ), divine; a Non-conformist Minister, and seemingly a man of great memory and learning, he wrote a number of books including the one offered here in which he attacks the deists.After this book was published, a second volume was added in 1755 upon the writings of Hume and Bolingbroke. A supplement, or third volume, was added in 1756. It was later published as a two volume work with a few alterations.
