Another of these Physicians expresses the opinion, that many who died, were even hastened to their deaths by negligence and severity, and that they might been spared their untimely fate, had proper attention been paid them, and they had received early medica tion. He further says, that in executing the Hospital regulations, every embarrassment was thrown in their way by the present Warden, and that he appeared to manifest toward all a moroseness and severity which was extremely offensive.
