O Lorde God Mercifull Father, the Auctour and gouernour of all crea tures, the giner of al wisedome, I poore wretched synner besech thee x for thy sonne Christes sake, that thou wylt vouchsalfe to poure vpon me thy holy Spirite, 'to worke in my mynde, heart and soule, thy wyll and pleasure to do at all tymes, so that I may walke in thys worlde to thy honor, professing vnfaynedly the Gospell.
