Synopsis

Explore a historic guide to Isaiah 55 and the life it calls you to live.

This collection presents a preacher’s preparatory look at knowing Christ, doing God’s will, and the hope of eternal rewards. It emphasizes the power of gospel knowledge and the daily work believers are called to complete, especially as they prepare to approach the Lord’s Table.

Structured as a sermon, the work walks through the conditions of those who know or do not know Christ, and it urges readers to pursue a confident, practiced faith. The author contrasts spiritual ignorance with informed, transformed living, aiming to deepen devotion and steadiness in the Christian walk.

The book offers guidance you can apply today: a sober view of your duties, a clear motive for service, and practical reflections on obedience, perseverance, and the meaning of work done for God. It also highlights the future hope granted through Christ and motivates a faithful life in view of judgment and reward.

• A plain discussion of who truly knows Christ and the difference that knowledge makes.
• Clear reasons to value wholehearted obedience and consistent spiritual growth.
• Motivations drawn from Scripture about reward, judgment, and eternal life.
• Practical reflections suitable for personal study or preparation for Communion.

Ideal for readers of historic sermons, devotional Christians, and anyone preparing to reflect on faith and works at the Lord’s Table.
