Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book, by Charles Bell, will serve as a practical guide for medical students looking to deepen their understanding of human systems. The author goes into detail about how to dissect different parts of the human body and even discusses some of the medical advancements and interventions possible in the field at the time of writing, showing the reader how this valuable information can be applied in both academic and clinical settings. Dissecting the human body to better understand its systems was discouraged at the time, but this book not only challenged that but also provided a detailed guide on how to do it safely. The information provided helped other authors publish similar works and has, over time, become the basis for the way human anatomy is studied.
