Excerpt from Foreign Crops and Markets, Vol. 29: December 24, 1934
The condition of fall-sown crops in European countries was general ly favorable during November, according to Assistant Agricultural At tache Donald F. Christy at Berlin. In some countries, the crop was not only more promising this year than last but was above average. While the acreage sown to Wheat and rye will probably show no increase, it is uh likely that there will be a reduction, although the governments ofssome countries would no doubt be in favor of a decrease in the areas sown to bread grains.
