Stops can be arranged to limit traversing to either or 110° on either side of the front of the battery, and the piece can be elevated from 5° depression to 15° elevation, stops being arranged to limit the depression to either horizontal, 2° 30' and 5° when the height of the parapet requires it. The elevating system is so constructed that the gun is loaded in the depressed position, this depression being 1° for normal retraction. The principal differences between the model of 1907 and 1907 M1 carriages are those due to the use of a longer and heavier model of 1910 gun on the model of 1907 MI carriages.
