Through the eyes of a newsboy and the crowded streets, this edition reveals how poverty, hope, and charity collide on a single holiday night.
This nonfiction collection uses vivid scenes to illuminate life in the city’s poorest neighborhoods. It traces the glow of a holiday, the hard edges of daily struggle, and the quiet acts of mercy that reach across the gaps of wealth and want."synopsis" may belong to another edition of this title.
