Foundations for party-walls Of the aforesaid heights, to be of block-stone, laid in horizontal courses, not less' than 24 inches thick; and for external walls, not less than 30 inches thick.
The bottom course to be at least 6 inches wider than the block stone wall resting thereon.
In all buildings over 30 feet in Width, not having either brick partition walls, or girders supported by columns running from front to rear, the external walls shall be increased 4 inches in thickness.
