Synopsis

Explore how God is revealed in the Old Testament and what that means for faith today.

This sermon traces the Bible’s unfolding testimony to a personal, sovereign God, the unity that underpins all revelation, and the Spirit that fills all creation.

Delving into a sweeping historical and theological arc, the work joins the stories from creation to Sinai to the temple, highlighting how God speaks, guides, and judges. It presents a clear defense of God’s personality, sovereignty, and Presence, while showing why these truths matter for understanding Christ and the gospel.
  • Why the Old Testament presents God as a personal being, not an abstraction
  • How biblical unity counters polytheism and idolatry
  • The Spirit’s presence and God’s sovereign rule across history
  • Connections between OT revelation and the coming of Christ
Ideal for readers curious about biblical theology, sermon study, and thoughtful reflections on God as He is shown in Scripture.
