Synopsis

A personal view of divinity you can feel in your own life. This book presents a fresh look at how Jesus taught God as a Father to the individual, not only as a king over a nation.

It analyzes how the Prophet of Nazareth built on Hebrew scripture while emphasizing intimate relationship with God and love for neighbor. The text also challenges the idea of using the Bible as a single, unquestioned authority, urging readers to consider the simplicity of Jesus’ message over Church traditions or Paul’s writings. Readers will see how different strands of Christianity are described and weighed against the core teaching of the Gospel.

• How Jesus’ teaching centers on the Fatherhood of God and personal relationship.
• Why the Bible’s authority is discussed as a mixed bag, not a uniform directive.
• How Pauline and Church traditions are contrasted with the message of Jesus.
• How this perspective sits within a broader history of Christian thought.

Ideal for readers of religious history, theology, and those curious about how early Christian ideas about God have shaped modern belief.
