Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book introduces a method of teaching drawing, arguing that traditional methods of drawing from copies are ineffective. The author advocates for a method grounded in the belief that drawing can be learned by all and is a valuable skill for all classes of society, not just artists. The method in the book sets out to introduce drawing from models using a series of exercises that build upon each other progressively to ultimately allow students to produce correct and accurate drawings of objects. The book's insights on teaching drawing have made it a valuable resource for teachers and students of art for centuries.
