Como el Rey e la Reyna fueron a la cibdad de Barce lona luego entendieron en los negocios que se habian de contratar en las cortes de aquel Principado Esta cibdad en los tiempos pasados fué tan bien governada por los principales que tenian cargo de su regimiento que florecía entre todas las cibdades de la cristiandad: é todos los moradores della gozaban de seguridad de sus personas e bienes, é de grand abundancia de las cºsas necesarias a la vida. E por la buena industria é justa comunicacion igualmente guardada tambien a los és trangeros, como á los naturales, algunas personas de otras partes remotas, informados de su buen regimiento, traían a ella sus bienes, á fin de vivir en paz 6 seguri dad: lo qual la engrandeció, é fué populosa, é aun po derosa de gente é riquezas.
