Synopsis
This book is a report of a data collection project that took place in 1991 at the OH. Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory in Oregon State University. It was a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional cooperative effort in which investigators shared instrumentation and expertise. The project produced data and insights on detailed physical processes for development of the next generation of coastal processes numerical simulation models, to improve understanding of micro-scale fluid and sand motion, and improve existing macro-scale beach profile change numerical simulation models. The book provides information and data documenting a coastal processes data collection project called the SUPERTANK Data Collection Project. SUPERTANK was conducted as a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional cooperative effort in which the investigators shared instrumentation and expertise.
