Musse hatte. Uebrigens sollte die Schrift blos eine Methodik, nicht ein Lehrbuch der Biblibthekswissenscbaft seyn, daher auch alles Specielle, so wie das ganze Capitel Vom Sammeln geflissentlich übergangen wor den ist; doch habe ich mich mit Vermeio (lung aller 'theorieenwe'isheit bestrebt hier das Wesentlichste von dem zusammenzw drängen, was sich mir im Laufe einer zwar nur sieben jährigen aber auf zwei Bibliotheken eines ganz verschiedenen Charakters gesam melten Erfahrung bewährt hat. Ein auf rein-praktische Grunds'ätze begründetes aus fiihrlicbes Lehrbuch gehört zu meinen zum Theil schon vorbereiteten Planen; gern.aber Werde ich dem Erfahrnern Weichen der früher als lehrer auftreten sollte.
