Dico a sorte, essendo proprio da contar per miracolo, se avvenga mai che in mezzo a' libri commessi nel regno delle Due Sicilie, ne capiti a' libraj qualche esemplare; il quale è pur frai possi bili che se ne resti, Dio sa per quanto, non curato e negletto negli scaffali di un magazzino, aspettando il curioso e paziente uomo di studio che prenda a inve stigare di quante e di quanto ricche gemme, sotto la disagevole corteccia del suo vernacolo, sia quel libro fecondo.
