Paul would have us tread in the fleps of the faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircum czfed, and declares that the promijé that he jhould be the heir of the world, was not to him, or to his fled, through the law, Rom. Iv. 12, 13. And yet affirms, that as main: as are of faith are bleflbd with faithful Abraham - And this promifed blefling, and promifed heir/hip, was given to Abraham, and to his fled - four hundred and thirty years before the law, or before our only rule of life was given.
