Cinque primi di questi Discorsi furono impressi la prima volta, nel 1850, sul Giornale di lettere e scienze delle provincie venete; gli altri quattro negli anni successivi sul Poligrafo di Verona. Poi li rac colsi tutti e nove nel primo de' sei volumi delle mie Opere stampate in Treviso, tra il 1856 e 1837. Da ultimo, il signor Giovanni Silvestri mi chiedeva permesso di darli fuora novamente, formandone un volume della sua Biblioteca scelta. Ed io ben volentieri gliel diedi, perch� non potea non tenermi per onorato da tale domanda fattami da un tipografo, il qual� certo uno de' pi� operosi e benemeriti che abbiano mai avuti gli studi italiani.
