A globe‑trotting crime tale told in a bold, witty voice about a man who lives by his own code.

From a difficult childhood to a life of high‑stakes schemes, the narrator recalls decades of clever theft, sharp emnity, and careful loyalties. He moves through Parisian rooms, Caribbean ports, and perilous confrontations, always balancing risk with a stubborn sense of honor. The book follows a criminal’s rise, a standout partnership with powerful figures, and a volatile fight against a ruthless rival, all while he wrestles with love, guilt, and the line between crime and redemption.

With brisk storytelling and a keen eye for detail, this tale blends danger, wit, and complicated relationships. It offers a portrait of a man who insists he is “a man of his word,” even as the world around him pushes him toward danger and deception.

First‑person narration that blends stylish bravado with a rare moral code.
Adventurous settings and a fast pace as the narrator confronts rivals, allies, and hard choices.
Criminal underworld dynamics, unexpected loyalties, and personal stakes that drive the plot.
A character study of an antihero who questions what it means to be honest when life is a string of con games.

Ideal for readers who enjoy noir‑tinged crime with a strong voice and morally fraught decisions.
