Excerpt from Travers Golf Book
Since the day I first won the championship of the United States, in 1907, I have been asked by scores of golfers to write a book relating my experiences and explaining my method of playing the different shots. This I have endeavored to do to the best of my ability in the following pages. I have made it a point to impart the information at my command in the simplest possible manner so that both the novice and the more experienced player may readily understand.
