Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book introduces readers to the foundational concepts of descriptive geometry, a branch of mathematics that studies the spatial relationships of points, lines, and planes without using any advanced algebra or trigonometry. The author begins by establishing the basic axioms, the rules that define the nature of geometric shapes, and then explores the various ways that these axioms can be used to reason about spatial relationships. The book provides a thorough treatment of the subject, including detailed discussions of theorems such as Desargues' theorem and the Dedekind property, and examines the relationship between descriptive geometry and projective geometry. This book offers a comprehensive introduction to descriptive geometry, making it an ideal resource for students looking to build a solid foundation in the fundamentals of geometry.
