Synopsis

Excerpt from The Emigrant's Guide, or Ten Years Practical Experience in Australia

IT is the custom of authors to assign, in what is called a Preface, the reasons which induced them to appear before the Public. The only reason which I think it necessary to assign for the fol lowing publication, is my belief that a residence of ten years in New South Wales has enabled me to gather such information as may be of some use to intending emigrants.
