This text-book has been in use for ten years at the United States Naval Academy, and the course in Mechanical Drawing has been very successful.
From the experience of these years the books is revised and the lately adopted methods of the Navy Department have been incorporated. The changes are particularly in regard to the adoption of Standard Lines for the different Bureaux. In addition the first two sheets have been combined in one, to reduce the time devoted to technique.
