The subject of Frauds on Creditors, embracing Fraudu lent Transfers and Settlements and Fraudulent Preferences, is one which, though of great importance to the mercantile community and calling for frequent consideration by the practitioner, has not hitherto been the subject of any ex tended Canadian treatise. It was with the View of supply ing in some measure the deficiency that this work was undertaken; and it is hoped that it may be found useful by those called upon to consider this somewhat difficult branch of the law.
