Since the revised and enlarged edition of this text book was issued, I have continued to note comments by students or others who were perusing it, and I have made several emendations in consequence of such hints.
But not all have been attended to. The work was, and is, intended to deal primarily with Light (under stood as practically limited to the two subjects, Optics and the Undulatory Theory), and to content itself in general with mere allusions to the connection of Light with Electro-magnetism.
