This book is an in-depth guide to mechanics for engineering students building on concepts from physics courses and preparing them for advanced courses in applied mechanics. The author presents the necessary theoretical background and supplements it with exercises to help the reader build a practical understanding. Beginning with static and kinematic concepts, it progresses to the dynamics of rigid bodies before exploring how these principles can be applied to structures and machines. The author's approach encourages critical thinking and the ability to analyze and solve problems using the principles of mechanics. Through this exploration, readers gain an understanding of the role mechanics plays in a wide range of disciplines, from civil engineering and architecture to robotics and biomechanics.
