Y lo propio vino a manifestar en los Origenes de la Novela No hay inconveniente en admitir que el germen de la creación de don Quijote haya sido la locura de un sujeto real y para demostrarlo, citó en esos y aun en otros lugares algunos testimonios tocantes a sujetos cuerdos a quienes extravió el juicio, más ó menos duradera y gra vemente, la perniciosa lectura de los libros de caballerías.
