At these meetings it was found that the form of education most needed was that bearing on. The necessary calculations appertaining to the textile industry. It was, however, found that, in most cases, the men realized that such calculations could not be suc cessfully studied until a better knowledge of mathe maties was obtained. The result was the idea of incorporating the two in one, Hence this book.
