G. Morris. The meeting was concluded with a banquet featuring addresses by James G. Glessner, the Reverend J. Max Hark, H. L. Fisher, Esq., Colonel Thomas C. Zimmerman, and D. K. Trimmer, Esq. Also included are German birth and baptismal records from Trinity Lutheran Church as well as an in memoriam address for Dr. Seidensticker. The author provides insight into the work of the Pennsylvania-German Society and how it preserved the history and traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch through a variety of efforts.
