It is a well-known fact that the religious beliefs of the cliff-dwellers, more or less modified, have been handed down to a later people, who still claim the ruins of their strongholds a°s ancestral sites. I have found no strong superficial lines of demarcation between the older and the more modern shrines, therefore both are included in this record.
