Cette construction, composee de pierres d'une moyenne gran dear, posees sans mortier, qui n'ont jamais ete reliees par aucuns crampons de fer, ni de bronze, ni clefs de bois, subsiste encore en tres - bon etat. Elle a ete si bien faite, qu'on a pu dans la suite, dans une partie des murs late' raux percer des arcades taillees dans le mur, comme on le voit a la figure 1 de la planche XX.
