Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the architectural significance of Jachin and Boaz, the two pillars found in the porch of King Solomon's Temple. The author presents evidence from the Bible, archaeological findings, and the writings of Masonic scholars to argue that the pillars were 18 cubits high, rather than the 35 cubits commonly depicted in Masonic tradition. They compare the Temple of Solomon to contemporary buildings, such as Egyptian temples and Greek structures, to provide a broader understanding of the architectural styles and influences of the time. Through a comprehensive analysis of historical records and expert opinions, this book challenges long-held assumptions and sheds new light on the symbolism and meaning of these iconic pillars in Masonic tradition. Its insights contribute to a deeper understanding of the historical and architectural context of Freemasonry, enriching the appreciation of its ancient symbols and rituals.
