In giving you a statement of my own case, I will have to commence at quite an early period Of my life; I will even be gin at my birth. Some persons may Object to be governed by this book upon the ground that it is written by an insane man, but for that very reason they should not hesitate to be governed by it, as it is reasonable to suppose that a man w'ho is diseased knows more about that particular disease than one who is not.
