The author hoped therefore by introducing and recommending fuch to the public attention, he might be doing fervice, however he himfelf fhould fucceed in the handling of them. If well, he clearly difcern'd the high advantage: if otherwife, high advantage he perceiv'd muft alfo arife to his readers, who by his difcourfes wou'd be led to think more clearly on thefe important matters, to confult the facred Scrip 'tures more carefully, as well as thofe able authors, who have done greater juf'tice to the glorious argufi ment.
