There is none of more consequence than rural sanitation. When you remember that North Carolina is 80 per cent rural; that we are most largely an agricultural people and live in the great outdoors; that our rural sanitary conditions are very bad and rural mortality very high, I am sure you will agree with me that we are giving, even in this important age when many vi tal matters are pressing us for attention, too little consideration to rural sanitation.
